STOMAGUARD was created because that fear shouldn't have to be part of daily life. We know, because the people behind this product have lived with exactly those worries.

How STOMAGUARD Came to Be
From a personal problem to a product trusted by ostomates across the UK.
After ostomy surgery, everyday activities that others take for granted (driving, playing sport, a simple hug) became sources of anxiety. The risk of a knock or the discomfort of a seatbelt shouldn't stop anyone from living fully.
Existing solutions were too bulky, too uncomfortable, or simply didn't exist. The STOMAGUARD concept was born: a rigid but ultra-light protective shield that could be worn over any standard ostomy appliance, all day, every day.
Prototypes were tested and refined through direct feedback from ostomates. Every design choice (the neoprene strip, the frame geometry, the clip mechanism) was driven by real-world experience, not assumptions.
STOMAGUARD is now used by ostomates throughout the United Kingdom, helping people drive, exercise, work, and live with the confidence that comes from knowing they're protected. And we're just getting started.
